she curled up tightly inside herself
and when melorah finally opened her eyes,
she found herself in a boldly colored room.
the room had strange walls,
painted bright orange and creamy yellow,
with no ceiling that she could perceive.
at the center of the room was an old metal table
and at its center was the little wooden box full of keys.
a rabbit creature stood at her side again.
"don't let yourself get so caught up, my dear. hold your composure." the creature warned,
"you still have many keys yet to glimpse...do not be afraid....reach for the next key."
melorah reached for the fitth key, her hand hovering over it momentarily...
and then she picked it up...
and beheld a realm of strange curiosities.....
