another updated image. laundry day at the black lodge was initially upload here on march 15 of 2002...so, it's official, some of you have seen this before. since the edit feature on this sight is being a little testy, it comes down to deleting and reloading images in order to update

i like all things i create to have a certain twilight-zoney sort of flavor. hope it makes you go "WTF?!" i'm a david lynch fanatic with too much time on my hands and a camera

interesting shot...took me moment to right myself and realize she was on the laundry machines...
...excellent colouration, the machines and wall have that dirty aged look to them
nice pose as well...
...and i like the focus...not overly sharp, just soft enough to make everything seem a bit surreal
excellent shot...

i didnt realize she was staniding on the washing machines until after i looked at this for quite a while. that defientely gives this alot more impact.

an di love how you just chose to shoot the feet. lends much more to the inaginaton. like, why the hell is she standing on the washing machine? :) (Smile)
great shot.

Fantastic - very dynamic, a great feeling of performance and being extrovert... the red, the soft flowing material looks fabulous with the heavy black boots.

For me, for the first second, it's a parody of 'table top dancing', maybe because it's currently very popular in the city where I work. But then it swiftly moves into something much deeper and more interesting... the woman and the machines and a strong sense of place which balances, holds it and keeps it from tipping into surrealism or fantasy or bizarre...===

I also love the way she's moving out of the frame. It's a totally different image, but the framing reminds me a little of your animal bone image which is cropped in a similar way I think...

I read your description and then I thought about some of david lynch's works and then I thought, 'the laundrette will never be the same again' and I hope you know what I mean :D (Big Grin)

just because you're lost doesn't mean your compass is broken
:iconrenonevada:
Will you be uploading these to daprints possibly? Or if I can get a print from you... ;) (Wink) Not too expensive tho. Remember, I'm a poor lil blue collar schmuck. :( (Sad) ;) (Wink) This shot, for some reason, I'm in love with.
